LEED - Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design

If you are working on a LEED-certifiable project, CSS can provide the assistance you need where environmentally-responsible waste management is concerned.

Construction waste diversion from disposal earns 1 point towards LEED certification for 50% diverted and 2 points for 75% diverted (Credits 2.1 and 2.2, respectivly, from "Green Building Rating System For New Construction & Major Renovations, Version 2.2, US Green Building Council, 2005).

CSS works with you to develop a customized waste management plan that lists materials to be recycled, identifies responsible individuals coordinating the effort, and describes the sorting and recording procedure. As the project progresses, CSS tracks the amounts and types of waste recycled and landfilled, providing weekly reports for documentation.
